In researching a hotel I was interested in one that was close enough to the Amalie Arena so that I would not have to deal with parking or walking too far and incorporated the Riverwalk. When attending the Frozen Four here in 2016, I did not consider the Riverwalk and felt I was too far downtown in the business for the “weekend”.
Well after extensive research, I chose this hotel as it had everything I wanted and needed. Upon arriving it turned out that I was NEXT DOOR to the hotel I had stayed at in 2016. Talk about not being aware of your surroundings. Dumbass. Since I arrived the night before Devyn, I did a dry run walk to the Arena for some nice photos and dinner. (See below)

The Tampa Riverwalk is a 2.6-mile scenic pedestrian walkway along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. The paved, 15-foot wide path features multiple segments that opened between 2010-2020. It’s a great spot for walking, jogging, biking, and appreciating the city from a lovely waterfront perspective.
