After sauntering around downtown Saint Paul I took a look at the tickets and realized just in time that the game was starting at 5 PM and not 6 PM. Damn Central time. Fortunately, we made it to our seats 4 minutes before puck drop. That was easy.
It certainly didn’t end up being the game I was expecting. Denver dominated for most of the game despite Boston College being #1 in the nation for the entire season. Denver’s goalie made quite a few unbelievable saves which was certainly the difference.
Denver 2, Boston 0 in my 16th Frozen Four Championship Game. It’s why they play the games.
