Relaxing By the Pool
After spending the morning at the Hockey Hall of Fame, I returned to the hotel to relax by the rooftop pool for the afternoon. Definitely great views.
The Game
Headed to the game at about 6:30. Little did I know that when I arrived that it was Kevin Gausman’s bobblehead night. My first thought was that I was probably going to get jacked up at the Border heading back, carrying this paraphernalia. Nonetheless, I tucked it under my arm and headed to my seat.
I had purchased a 2nd row seat along the third base side, home team side. Ticket was again a bargain. Quoted one price, then ended up paying 26% less when it got to the credit card. This whole week was a discount!
Highlight of the game for me, well besides the bobblehead and Maple Bacon Footlong with Garlic Aioli of course was when relief pitcher Jose Cuas for the Blue Jays faced four batters – a walk, a two-run single and then hit the next two batters with consecutive pitches scoring two more runs for the Astros, bad night and he left RIGHT after that!
It wasn’t much of a game though as the Astros beat the Blue Jays 9-2. I walked through the city after the game and got back to the Hotel @ 10:30ish for the evening.
