Two Wheels, One Adventure: Glens Falls to Lake George on the Warren County Trail

There’s something special about starting the day on two wheels, and my Thursday morning ride from Glens Falls to Lake George proved just that. With my Himiway e‑bike charged and ready, I set out along the Warren County Bikeway, a trail that connects the historic charm of Glens Falls with the lakeside beauty of Lake George.

The path itself is a mix of wooded stretches, quiet residential areas, and open views that remind you why this region is such a gem for cyclists. The gentle hum of the e‑bike made the ride smooth and enjoyable, letting me focus on the scenery rather than the strain of the climb. Along the way, I passed fellow riders, joggers, and families out enjoying the trail—proof that this route is beloved by locals and visitors alike.

Arriving in Lake George, the reward was immediate: the sparkling water, the bustle of the village, and the sense of stepping into a vacation postcard. I paused to take it all in before turning back toward Glens Falls, retracing the trail with fresh appreciation for the landscapes I had just passed.

In total, the round‑trip ride offered not only exercise and fresh air but also a reminder of how accessible adventure can be when you’ve got a bike and a free morning. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a leisurely ride, the Warren County Trail delivers a perfect blend of nature, history, and small‑town charm.
